Hello,

I just joined the group and am already impatient to participate on the next meeting. Are there any meetings scheduled for September?

Also i am CCNP and if there is any need for someone to present on a CCNP study group it would be my pleasure to participate.

Thanks

Radi

I passed the last exam for CCVP track. This was a long journey that started in July 2009 (self-paced study). I want to keep encouraging everyone on this forum that are pursuing Cisco certifications. Don't stop studying, keep pressing forward. I am now planning to move on to CCNP for 2011. I will focus on CCNA Security for the rest of this year. My current position involve a lot with security on the VoIP network.

Looking for someone with a good solid background with Cisco switches and routers.  Preferably 6500 series.  Exp with Foundry/Brocade LB's a plus.   Ideally candidate will have strong Windows Server 2003 exp.

Why do you have routers connected together? 2 routers connected together don't play well together unless one is a gateway and the other in a router mode? Why 2 routers in the first place, why not a router and a switch? I would also check keepAlive on the link. Hope this help. Post the full configuration.

2600-1 (config)#sh run

After configuring a Cisco 2600 E1 as below, the Link comes up and then after 30 sec

2600-1(config)#ip routing
2600-1(config)#controller e1 0/0/0
2600-1(config-controller)#framing crc4
2600-1(config-controller)#linecode hdb3
2600-1(config-controller)#clock source line primary
2600-1(config-controller)#channel-group 0 timeslots 1-31
2600-1(config-controller)#no shutdown

Please note:

Effective Sunday, August 29, our email list services will be shut down. This refers to the email lists we have through Topica. The discussion group (this website) will continue running as normal.

All future communications for the ACSG should be submitted through the Watercooler discussion forum or directed to group leaders, BJ Gill, or Joel Barrett, ACSG Founder.

The reason why I am shutting down the email lists is because they are rarely used and we have received a few spam/malicious emails through it. Since most of our users visit the discussion forum, we feel this is a better way to communicate to the members.

Thank you for your continued support and good luck with your studies and certification efforts!
